France Coast - Avranches to the Loire Valley

After Auray we spotted an interesting old church and not far from that, a chapel with a large statue on the chemin de (path of) Madelaine. It was built on a high point in the small village, Fay de Bretagne. We have seen many chapels and statues along the roadside but this one was definitely worth stopping for a closer look.
